The Breath Between is a publication compiling all of my creations and thoughts. It is a place for inspired lightness, humility, spirituality, music and creativity.

Within this space, you will find:

1) Music and Performances released under my artist name “Blossomoon” as well as my sound journey band “Bhaktisphere”

2) Guided Meditations and Spiritual Contemplations to help you connect deeper to your true self

3) Newsletters and Posts discussing everything from spirituality to creativity to community building.

And of course, it will all be coming from me, in my best effort to keep my pure and authentic voice shining through. I might not do it perfectly, but that’s the whole point.

It is my mission in life to share my creativity and love with the world, and to inspire others to do the same. I believe in authentic expression- sometimes it can be ugly, sometimes it can be beautiful, sometimes it can be funny- but in the pureness of what is true, and in the discarding of judgement, something beautiful begins to form. Come as you are, perfectly imperfect. Lets take this journey together towards self discovery, towards healing, towards lightness, and towards the full embodiment of our true-selves.

Here’s a little more about me! I am David - a musician, facilitator, engineer, spiritual light-worker, and lover of life.

Born in May of 1998, I’m one of the early Gen Z’s to walk the planet. Throughout childhood, I had a strong draw to creating and building things. I learned piano from a young age, and in 2015, I began producing my own music. Since then, I have found a deep love of creativity, using my hands, my ears, and my heart to express what I sometimes struggle to express in words.

Something else happened in 2015 besides starting my music career: my mother gifted me training in Transcendental Meditation (TM). At the time, this was the first real exposure I had to meditation, and I instantly fell in love with the act of calming my mind. The practice of TM is simple: it is repeating a mantra in your mind for 20 minutes, twice a day. The repetition of the mantra is meant to be a “distraction” of sorts for the busy mind to hold on to, while the rest of your consciousness “transcends down” into the stiller, more silent centers of the brain.

Even if there is a raging storm at the surface of the ocean, the waters at the ocean floor are always calm, and our minds work similarly. Meditation helps us access that peaceful place at the bottom of our busy minds.

Since then, my spirituality has developed. I have experienced many different types of ways to connect with myself, with others, and with the universe, and I love the melting-pot that spirituality can be these days. Things like Astrology, Tarot, and the Gene Keys are methods I’ve found to put vocabulary and language to the abstract. I take what I like from each religion and practice and leave the rest. What this has left me with is an incredible sense of closeness to a source of oneness, to a higher power, to a God, to whatever you want to call it, even if you don’t believe it, for me, it is the divine, and the guiding light to why I create.

Now I’m at a stage in my creative process where I’m ready to share - but sharing is hard! I’ve been in the incubator, both creatively and emotionally, for years. I’ve moved through many tough periods of my life where I had to experience contrast and pain, loss and grief, love and disappointment. But all of this has led me to this moment. I feel all those feelings, even now, in the dichotomy of their existence, and I have stopped trying to fight them, or judge them. I can be messy! The human experience is messy! I know that I’m enough as a flawed human, and that I can simply just laugh at the absurdity of all the years trying to fix that, and instead, I’ll just be me.
